Rent Cami plant
Regarding the article Boom and gloom (Dec. 6).
I see a possible solution to the Cami problem. Chinese EV companies such as BYD and MG are selling lots of vehicles in Europe. Why not invite one of them to rent or buy the Cami plant and produce EVs there.
There is already a highly qualified work force in place and they could buy batteries from PowerCo in St. Thomas.
By doing this, it could be possible for China to drop their tariffs on our canola. And it would definitely upset the American president. Win, win, win.
