Lakeshore guard Jeremiah Lewis admitted that he has struggled with his shot a little this season.
But the senior continued to plug away, knowing that one day he would see the ball splash through the hoop with regularity again.
That day came on Dec. 10 when Lewis posted a game-high 28 points as the Titans held off Fontainebleau for a 71-65 victory in Day 2 of the Bulldog Classic.
“My shot has been pretty off in the first few games, but my coach told me to keep shooting because I’m a great shooter,” Lewis said. “Good shooters are going to keep shooting, and it felt great tonight. I just kept letting it fly.”
Lewis scored 21 points in the first half while draining six 3-pointers in the game. But while Lewis lit up the scoreboard, both teams struggled to finish in the lane.
