A Delhi court on Thursday allowed former JNU scholar and Delhi riots conspiracy accused Umar Khalid interim bail so he can attend his sister’s wedding, as per the reports of Bar and Bench.

Additional Sessions Judge Sameer Bajpai permitted Khalid to remain out on bail from December 16 to December 29.

The Court said.

Considering the fact that the marriage is of the real sister of the applicant, the application is allowed and the applicant is granted interim bail from 16.12.2025 to 29.12.2025 on furnishing of personal bond of Rs.20,000/- with two sureties of the like amount subject to the following conditions

Khalid has been directed not to use social media and to meet only his family members, relatives and friends.
