PALAKKAD: After fifteen days of hiding, Rahul Mamkootathil MLA arrived to vote. He reached his booth at St Sebastian's School in Kunnathurmedu South, Palakkad, in his official car at around 4.50 pm. There were reports yesterday that Rahul would come to vote as his arrest in the first rape case was stayed and he had been granted anticipatory bail in the second case. He arrived with only an hour left for the polling to end and he feared that if he comes in the morning it would affect the elections.
