The 2025 high school football season in Louisiana has reached the state finals, and there are five New Orleans area teams competing for state championships this week at the Caesars Superdome.
The first area matchup is on Thursday at 3:30 p.m. between No. 2-seeded Riverside (11-1) and No. 5-seeded Ascension Catholic (11-2) for the Division IV select state title. No. 1-seeded St. Charles (12-1) will face defending state champion Shaw (9-4), the No. 7 seed, in the Division II select championship game at 7 p.m. on Friday.
