The reigning 9-5A champions are heating up heading into the start of their district title defense, with Lovejoy stringing together a 5-0 week that included an unbeaten run at the Craig Bowers Invitational in Royse City.

Novicke was dialed in all week, named to the all-tournament team averaging 21 points per game.
