Cillian Murphy in talks to appear in 28 Years Later finale

28 Years Laterwas always intended to be the first in a trilogy. Director Danny Boyle (Slumdog Millionaire) and writer Alex Garland (Civil War) shot their film back-to-back with its sequel 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple, written by Garland and directed by Nia DaCosta (Candyman, The Marvels). But Sony didn’t initially approve a third movie, waiting to gauge the response to the first two films.
