Mohamed Salah faces an anxious wait over his involvement for Liverpool against Brighton this weekend.
Salah was left out of the Liverpool squad for their Champions League win over Inter Milan in midweek , as a result of his outburst following the 3-3 draw with Leeds.
The forward was an unused substitute at Elland Road but spoke to reporters afterwards and claimed he was being made a scapegoat for the Reds’ poor form this season .
While it has been reported that Salah will play no part against the Seagulls, Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has, so far, refused to confirm whether that will be the case or not .
What is for certain is the 33-year-old is set to be present at Anfield on Saturday to bid a temporary farewell to supporters before heading off to Morocco for the Africa Cup
