Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri Thursday issued a stern warning to the state bureaucracy, stating that the officers “conspiring against the government” and “visiting the houses of BJP leaders” won’t be spared.

“Those officers who, despite a Congress government in the state, are visiting BJP leaders’ homes will be dealt with. I also want to tell (Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh) Sukhu ji that this cannot continue. Such officers must be handled firmly,” Agnihotri said while addressing a rally in Mandi to mark three years of the Congress government.

He said the officials involved in conspiracy and misinformation against the Congress government “will be dealt with in the dark of night” and cautioned the bureaucracy to “fall in line”.
