President Murmu said that she is aware of the pain that the people of Manipur have gone through due to the unfortunate violence

President Droupadi Murmu, who is on a two-day visit to Manipur, today assured that taking care of the concerns of people of the state is the highest priority for the government.

Speaking at a civic reception hosted by the government of Manipur in her honour at the City Convention Centre, Imphal, President Murmu said that she is aware of the pain that the people of Manipur have gone through due to the unfortunate violence.

She emphasised that the Union Government remains fully committed to fostering harmony, ensuring security, and supporting Manipur on its path toward stability and prosperity.

The government is also committed to promoting equitable development
