WEST LAFAYETTE ― In one blowout victory over Minnesota, Purdue basketball showed why it's a national championship caliber team.
In the same 85-57 win over the Gophers on Wednesday at Mackey Arena, the Boilermakers showed why they're vulnerable.
For a half, Minnesota, despite its inefficient shooting, was getting the looks it wanted. The Gophers back cut Purdue into oblivion, and in just 20 minutes, shot 15 layups.
