Although Warren De La Salle had a rough 1-5 start to the prep football season, the Pilots righted the ship and made a run to the Division 3 state semifinals before falling to eventual state champion and top-ranked DeWitt.

It comes to no surprise that De La Salle has several players named to the Michigan Sportswriters Association Division 3-4 All-State football team Damion King was named to the first team as a wide receiver and Anthony Bitonti earned top honors as one of the linebackers on the first team.

The Pilots also landed kicker/punter Jackson Tur on the All-State Honorable Mention list.
