The Canadiens will start top goaltending prospect Jacob Fowler for the first time tonight against the Pittsburgh Penguins at PPG Paints Arena.
Fowler was called up Tuesday from the AHL’s Laval Rocket, where he had a 10-5 record, a 2.09 goals-against average and a .919 save percentage. Article content Article content
The 21-year-old Melbourne, Fla., native was selected by the Habs in the third round (69th overall pick) in the 2023 NHL Draft.
