Pauline Potter , whose struggle to lose hundreds of pounds was chronicled in a 2015 episode of TLC’s My 600-lb Life , died Thursday November 27, nearly a year after a serious car accident left her with broken ribs and other lingering injuries. She was 62.

Her death was announced by her son Dillon in a YouTube video (watch it below). He did not specify a city or state where his mother died, though she had lived in both Sacramento and Houston.
