The second segment of duck season opened Wednesday, just in time to complete your Christmas shopping list.

Every duck hunter needs waders . Somebody that hunts frequently in flooded timber gets about four years of service from a pair of waders. You can buy on an emergency basis when your waders spring a terminal leak, or a loved one can buy now and have a pair in reserve when he or she spots a deal.

We opened the second segment wearing a brand new pair of Banded Black Label uninsulated zippered waders. So far we are pleased. They do not leak from the outside or from the inside. Any duck hunter that has ever played submarine in the duck woods knows what that means.
