HARRISON, MI — A Clare County man has pleaded guilty-as-charged to trying to stab his grandmother to death.
Jacob A. Dunham, 26, on Dec. 5 appeared before Clare County Circuit Judge Tara S. Hovey and pleaded guilty to the only count he faced — assault with intent to murder. The charge is punishable by up to life imprisonment.
Clare County Prosecutor Andrew J. Santini did not respond to queries from MLive regarding if his office agreed to what Dunham’s eventual sentence will be. MLive likewise could not reach defense attorney Ravi R. Gurumurthy for comment.
Dunham’s conviction stems from an incident that occurred Nov. 30, 2024, two days after Thanksgiving.
