Assault: Sweetbriar Lane

Police arrested for assault a boy involved in an altercation with another juvenile at 8:58 p.m. Nov. 28.

Officers transported the boy to the Geauga County Jail.

A few minutes before that, the officers had been dispatched to a Caves Road property regarding an emergency 911 hang-up call.

The phone location was in the vicinity of the assault. The incident continues to be under investigation and further details are not available at this time.

Multiple cars slid into ditches after 5 p.m. Nov. 28 due to slippery road conditions.

Officers responded to help with tow trucks and checking on motorists.

Police requested that the Cuyahoga County Road Department treat the roadway.
