Perrot Memorial Library announces the launch of its Library of Things (LOT), a new collection of non-traditional library items available for checkout. Designed to broaden the Library’s offerings and strengthen its role as a community resource, the LOT provides access to useful, practical, and fun items that patrons might not otherwise purchase or have room to store.
“With the Library of Things, we’re expanding what a library can offer to its community,” said Library Director Trish Tomlinson. “Whether you’re trying a new hobby, hosting an event, or needing a tool for a one-time project, the LOT gives you access without the expense or environmental impact of buying something new.”
Perrot’s LOT supports a growing national movement toward sharing, sustainability, and equitable access. By enc
