Due to the severe flooding in several areas throughout western Washington, thousands of households are without power.
According to poweroutage.com , 17,404 customers remain without power. As many as 33,000 customers are without power across the state. Poweroutage.com tracks 3,586,210 customers in the state.
The aggressive weather on Wednesday, which is expected to taper off overnight briefly, included wind gusts of up to 40 mph alongside heavy rain.
Puget Sound Energy is currently tracking 39 outages, affecting 3,855 households, as of this reporting. Only six Seattle City Light customers are without power.
Snohomish PUD is reporting 103 customers are without power, while only 15 customers are without power through Tacoma Public Utilities .
