COLUMBIA, S.C. —

Following a season in which South Carolina sagged toward the bottom of the national and conference rankings in offensive output, Shane Beamer has officially overhauled his staff, announcing three additions on Thursday.

The University of South Carolina Board of Trustees approved contracts for offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Kendal Briles, offensive line coach Randy Clements, and running backs coach Stan Drayton.

Briles, who comes to Columbia after spending the past three seasons as associate head coach, offensive coordinator, and quarterbacks coach at TCU, is set to earn more than $6M over the course of the three-year contract.
