RENO, Nev. (KOLO) - The pedestrian who was killed in a November crash at University Way has been identified.

On Nov. 17, at around 10:30 p.m., Nevada Highway Patrol troopers responded to a crash between a pedestrian and a vehicle on Maple Street at the intersection with University Way.

An initial investigation found that a 2008 GMC Acadia was headed east on Maple Street at the intersection with University Way to enter the on ramp when it hit a pedestrian who was headed south in the intersection.

The pedestrian was identified as 51-year-old Jennifer Nelson of Reno, who succumbed to her injuries at a local hospital.
