The Yuma County Sheriff’s Office is notifying the public that a convicted sex offender has a new address in Yuma County.

The individual who appears on this notification, Jacob Daniel Ficker, 41, is residing at 13117 E. 42nd Drive in Yuma. He is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, 210 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He is not wanted by law enforcement at this time.

On April 29, 2002, Ficker pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted molestation of a child in the Maricopa County Superior Court in Goodyear. He was sentenced to serve one year at the Arizona Department of Corrections, followed by lifetime probation. His victims were two female juveniles known to him.

Ficker is considered a Level 1 sex offender with a low risk to reoffend.
