Emmerdale may be gearing up for Christmas with an explosive end of the year lined up, but that doesn't stop the festive warmth from seeping through into the ITV soap.

On Thursday's (December 11) hour-long installment, viewers were in for a welcomed change as singer Jason Donovan made a cameo and enjoyed a sing-a-long in The Woolpack.

The Neighbours legend performed one of his classic hits to a packed out Woolpack for Lydia Dingle, after Kim Tate organised the surprise following her disappointment that Sam Dingle failed to get tickets.
