BENTON COUNTY, ARKANSAS, Ark. — A lucky Benton County man won big after buying a lottery ticket through a mobile app in November, according to the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery (ASL).

John H. won $390,000 in a Nov. 23 drawing with the winning numbers 3, 4, 13, 28, and 41, ASL reports. He told state lottery officials he bought the tickets "on a whim" with leftover money from his previous attempts.

When he received the email telling him he won, he told ASL that he "just started laughing ... I thought it was a joke."

Although he has yet to make direct plans for the money, John said he's going to be extra generous with his Christmas presents this year.
