LOGAN - Utahns turned out in force this year for the Warm Bodies, Warm Souls clothing drive, donating hundreds of coats, boots and other winter essentials to help families statewide prepare for colder weather. Organizers reported that the annual effort, led by Bank of Utah, Arctic Circle and Red Hanger, collected 561 bags of warm clothing and $10,040 in cash contributions from 73 collection sites.
Those donations are now being delivered to 15 nonprofit partners from Logan to St. George. Northern Utah beneficiaries include the Cache Community Food Pantry, Cache Valley Humanitarian Center and Tremonton Community Pantry, which will distribute items to families in need across Cache Valley and Box Elder County.
