Mizzou will briefly head back to the buy-games after a difficult week on the road.

Missouri basketball, following an 0-2 week on the road, returns Thursday night to Mizzou Arena for a nonconference matchup against Alabama State. The Tigers have three games left in their noncon schedule, and Thursday’s game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff that will air on SEC Network+.

After an eight-game winning streak to open the season, Mizzou’s undefeated record ended with a loss to Notre Dame in the ACC/SEC Challenge on Dec. 2. The Tigers (8-2) then lost to Kansas in the Border War on Sunday in Kansas City.

Just three games separate Mizzou from SEC play. After facing Alabama State, the Tigers will host Bethune-Cookman on Sunday before traveling to St. Louis for Braggin’ Rights against Illinois on Dec.
