COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO)– Employees with Dominion Energy are doing their part to give back to families in need this holiday season.

As part of the company’s 43 annual Good Neighbor Fund Christmas Project volunteers started the morning by packing over 400 bags of food.

Along with nearly 500 wrapped toys, the food and gifts were then distributed to families across the Midlands.

Employees who spoke with ABC Columbia say it is what the holiday season is all about.

The Good Neighbor Fund is an employee driven initiative within Dominion Energy, also providing financial assistance throughout the year to families that face tragedy or emergencies.
