We live in a world where, unfortunately, not all Indiana Jones movies were directed by Steven Spielberg , even if all five did ultimately star Harrison Ford . That final Spielberg-less film was 2023’s Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny , and even if it did receive some positive reviews , it didn’t really deserve them. And, not that box office is the be-all-and-end-all, but it performed pretty tepidly, maybe like something so half-baked deserved. Sorry. It’s something that does have to be addressed if you're talking about Indiana Jones , as a series, and it’s hard to know whether it can continue or be rebooted in some way.
