A Brooklyn court has heard that plea agreements may be possible in a case involving extensive illicit betting operations, which the FBI claims involve prominent National Basketball Association ( NBA ) players and the New York mafia. Four NBA clubs have been found to participate in games as a result of the FBI's thorough investigation into illegal sports gambling.
