Recovery Café Longmont has begun a search for a new executive director, with the pending departure of the organization’s current leader, Jennifer Jepsen, who announced in October that she would step down at year’s end.
Recovery Café Longmont provides a community for individuals navigating substance- and alcohol-use disorder, mental-health challenges, trauma and other difficult life experiences.
RCL recently purchased a larger permanent home in central Longmont and has secured $3 million toward a $5.8 million capital-campaign goal. When completed, the renovated facility will significantly expand programming, increase accessibility, fully implement the Recovery Café Network model, and provide a dedicated sober community event space, according to a press release.
