Saint Agnes Medical Center has received the largest gift in its history.
The hospital announced Thursday that the King J. Richter Estate has donated $13.6 million.
The big picture: Saint Agnes said the $13.6 million donation is the largest gift in the hospital’s 96-year history. • The gift will support the construction of a new emergency department. Funding will also support investments in new medical technology and devices, as well as being used to improve access to care.
What they’re saying: “The generosity of King J. Richter will allow Saint Agnes to invest directly in our facilities and care services to ensure we can meet the growing and complex needs of our community right here at home for generations to come,” said Saint Agnes President Dr. Gurvinder Kaur. • Saint Agnes Board
