LEH, Dec 11: Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Kavinder Gupta, has called for a strengthened and technology-driven policing framework to counter the rising threat of “white-collar” terror modules that operate through funding channels, logistical support and sophisticated planning rather than overt acts of violence.

Addressing the concluding session of the 2-day State/UT- level conference on dissemination and Implementation of DGs/IGs of Police conference recommendations 2025, organised by Ladakh Police at the CIBS Auditorium at Choglamsar, the Lt Governor emphasised that “white-collar” terror modules represent an evolving security challenge and require enhanced intelligence gathering, financial-trail tracking, cyber vigilance and seamless inter-agency coordination.
