'The complainants did not consent to engage in sexual activities,' the Crown lawyer said

Calgary serial rape suspect Richard Robert Mantha should be found guilty of drugging and sexually assaulting five vulnerable women, a prosecutor said Thursday.

Crown lawyer Dominique Mathurin said Mantha should be acquitted on charges relating to two of seven alleged victims, but convicted on the testimony or video evidence relating to four others.

Mathurin told Justice Judith Shriar the testimony of four complainants was consistent in their description of Mantha as the perpetrator and three the rural property where he was living at the time.
