SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WNDU) - Athletic directors from other conferences are threatening to freeze Notre Dame out of future schedules after learning of an agreement between the university and the College Football Playoff, according to a Yahoo Sports report .
Notre Dame athletic director Pete Bevacqua revealed after the team’s playoff snub this season that the Irish will make the playoff next year as long as they finish the season in the top 12 due to a memorandum of understanding.
Yahoo Sports’ Dan Wolken reported that athletic directors in other leagues view the agreement as unfair and are considering scheduling changes in response.
