ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Brandin Cooks is settling into life in Buffalo.
"I feel like the adjusment is going great, I really do," Cooks said, having signed with the team in late November. "You come into a place like this and they welcome you with open arms, it's like a family."
Fortunately for Cooks, he used to tackling new challenges.
The Bills wide receiver , known for his speed, can fly on the field, but in 2021, what started as a conversation led to him getting his pilot license, allowing him to literally take flight.
"I was getting to know a guy, a business guy and he had his license and in our conversation it came off as I don't know if you can do this," Cooks recalled. "That's the way I took it. Tell me I can't, and I'm going to show you I can."
