CANYON, Texas (KFDA) - Three West Texas A&M volleyball seniors continue to receive recognition after their season ended last week, earning spots on American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) All-American teams.
Seniors Taytum Stow, Currie Marusak and Emma Becker played key roles in the Lady Buffs’ success under first-year head coach Terry Gamble.
All-American selections
Marusak and Becker were named to the AVCA honorable mention teams, while Stow earned second team recognition. Stow was also named a D2CCA third team All-American.
All three players earned AVCA All Region honors last week as well.
Stow leads defensive effort
The Hereford native recorded 290 kills, 19 service aces and 72 digs this season. Stow led the team in blocks with 155, which was 88 more than the second-place
