PITTSBURGH -- Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver DK Metcalf says that he is okay after suffering a stomach issue in Baltimore on Sunday. Metcalf said ‘I’m good’ multiple times when asked about where he stands now, and logged a full practice on Thursday.
The team initially took Metcalf off their flight from Baltimore to the hospital and he stayed overnight in the city while they made sure he was okay.
Head coach Mike Tomlin said he was in the abdomen during the game and the pains got progressively worse. The team did not want to get into the air in case it was a potentially serious injury.
