BREMOND, Texas (KBTX) - Bremond High School senior Charlye Martin has been named this week’s KBTX Sports Classroom Champion.

Martin maintains a 5.0 grade point average and ranks second in her class. She is a member of the National Honor Society and the Student Council.

Outside of school, Martin volunteers for the city of Bremond, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, and Golden Years Nursing and Rehab.

“I would say who inspires me towards greatness would be God, because he’s given me many opportunities and blessings that he didn’t have to, that have helped me become the person I am today,” Martin said.

Physics teacher Leah Feist said Martin is dedicated to excellence in her coursework.
