SHAKOPEE, Minnesota — MyPillow CEO Mike Lindell, a prominent conservative activist and close ally of President Donald Trump, has officially announced he is running for governor of Minnesota in 2026, the Associated Press reported .
According to The Minnesota Star Tribune , Lindell filed paperwork earlier this month establishing a campaign committee and confirmed his candidacy Thursday, telling supporters he intends to focus on reducing taxes, reforming education, strengthening law enforcement and cracking down on what he claims is widespread government fraud.
