WILLIAMSPORT — A Centre County man has been sentenced to 30 years in prison after admitting he produced child pornography with a 3-year-old autistic non-verbal child he was babysitting.

William S. Welsh, 29, of State College, pleaded guilty Thursday in U.S. Middle District Court and immediately was sentenced by Judge Matthew W. Brann.

He admitted on Jan. 15, 2023, that he photographed the genitals of a child for the purpose of producing visual depictions for the purpose of eliciting a sexual response in the viewer.
