India suffered a complete batting collapse in the second T20I against South Africa as they faced a heavy defeat by 51 runs in Mullanpur. Chasing a target of 214, the home side never found the momentum and were bundled at a mere score of 162 in 19.1 overs.
This time even India’s explosive opener Abhishek Sharma could not replicate his recent heroics and fell at the mere score of 18. Shubman Gill who has already made many top-notch players warm the bench once again failed miserably and went for a duck. Indiia’s T20I skipper Suryakumar Yadav again looked out of form and was dismissed at the score of 5.
After the loss Suryakumar Yadav admitted that the top order – including himself did not perform well.
