Nandamuri Balakrishna, the God of Masses, returned to theatres with Akhanda 2, which opened to a strong response from paid premieres across the globe. Directed by Boyapati Sreenu, the film began its regular shows today.

The paid premieres generated a thunderous reaction, with audiences praising Balakrishna’s commanding performance as Akhanda. SS Thaman’s music and background score have also drawn solid appreciation.

The makers have officially confirmed that the Akhanda franchise will continue. At the end of the film, they announced the third instalment titled “Jai Akhanda.” As per the story’s setup, Akhanda heads to Sambala and will return when the nation needs him again. It is not yet clear whether Boyapati Sreenu has completed the script for the next part, but Jai Akhanda is confirmed
