ALBEMARLE COUNTY, Va. (CBS19 NEWS) -- After years of planning and debate, the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail is officially moving forward with its long-anticipated renovation project.
“This whole process is five years; it seems like we would never get to this point. So it is very exciting and rewarding to be here today,” said ACRJ Superintendent Martin Kumer.
