Shopian : A district-level training programme on the National Programme on Climate Change & Human Health (NPCCHH) and Snakebite Prevention & Control Programme (SBPCP) organized by the District Surveillance Unit (DSU) Shopian, was conducted at Mini Secretariat Shopian Thursday.
The training programme, presided over by Chief Medical Officer (CMO) Shopian, Dr. Arshad Hussain Tak, highlighted the importance of strengthening climate-resilient healthcare services and improving preparedness for climate-linked health challenges.
BMO, Shopian, Dr. Mohd Yousuf Naikoo elaborated on the administrative role in managing climate-related health issues and snake bite cases, emphasizing coordinated planning, capacity building, timely reporting and effective implementation at the block level.
