SRINAGAR : The Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) has sealed a multi-storey guest house at Humhama after finding major deviations from the approved building plan, including the construction of an unauthorized additional floor and over 768 square feet of cumulative violations. The action has been taken against Parvaiz Ahmad Wani and others, who were granted permission in July 2022 to build a basement-plus-four-storey guest house. However, officials reported that the permit holders raised an illegal extra fourth floor, breaching sanctioned limits and continuing construction despite a High Court direction maintaining status quo.
