Iconic classic rock band Queen is done with major tours.
That’s the word from guitarist Brian May’s wife, Anita Dobson, according to The Mirror .
“They will do little bits and bobs, but they won’t do those big tours. We are all getting old,” Dobson, 76, said.
Drummer Roger Taylor tells Rolling Stone that a goodbye world tour is not in the cards, but that doesn’t mean the band is breaking up.
“I don’t think we’re done,” Taylor said. “And I don’t think we’re going to say a final farewell tour. Because it never is, is it?”
May, 78, has had some health troubles, suffering a minor stroke last year, The Mirror reports. In 2020, he had a “small” heart attack and had surgery for congested arteries, Parade reports .
