National Conference MP Choudhary Mohammad Ramzan on Friday raised two key infrastructure demands in Parliament -the long-pending construction of the Bandipora–Lolab road and the development of a 4-lane corridor from Sangrama to Chowkibal via Sopore and Handwara seeking clarity from the Centre on their current status and future roadmap..

Raising the issue, MP Ramzan said the projects are of immense public importance and have been awaited for years, urging the Government to take up the proposals on priority.

Responding to the query, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, Nitin Gadkari, said the Ministry is aware of the proposals and will examine them through detailed assessment.
