LOGAN — St. John’s Episcopal Church is seeking volunteers to help provide a warm, safe gathering place for unhoused residents on Christmas Day, extending support from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Although the event is not an official operation of the William A. Burnard Warming Center, organizers said the center is helping facilitate the holiday effort to ensure no one in the community spends the day alone.

Volunteers will help welcome guests, serve refreshments and participate in planned activities, including crafts, a Christmas movie and the distribution of holiday stockings. Individuals, families and friend groups are invited to participate. Anyone 18 or older may volunteer; minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian.
