New Delhi: The National Commission for Indian System of Medicine ( NCISM ) has officially announced that the National Exit Test ( NExT ) will be applicable for all AYUSH students admitted from the academic year 2021-22 onwards.

According to the public notice issued by NCISM on its official website on December 12th, the decision has been taken under the directions of the Ministry of AYUSH,(vide letter reference no. Y-18020/8/2022-EP-III dated 09.09.2025) and with the approval of Commission meeting held on 24.10.2025, "it has been decided that the National Exit Test (NEXT), to be conducted by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM) shall be applicable for all students admitted from the Academic Year 2021-22 onwards in the month of March 2027 tentatively."
