FAYETTEVILLE -- University of Arkansas football Coach Ryan Silverfield extended a scholarship offer to Bryant freshman Quinton Sykes Jr. on Tuesday.
Sykes, 6-2 and 210 pounds, is the first in-state prospect to received an offer from the newly hired Silverfield.
He had a scholarship offer from Texas-San Antonio prior to landing his offer from the Hogs. He also added offers from Florida International and Arkansas State on Tuesday.
Sykes recorded 29 catches for 557 yards and 11 touchdowns as well as 11 rushes for 119 yards and 2 touchdowns while playing on the freshman team this season. He also returned 3 punts for 73 yards with 1 touchdown and fielded 4 kickoffs for 162 yards with a touchdown.
